Harmonic Motion

2009
This site introduces the theory behind simple harmonic motion. We also carry out an experiment on simple harmonic motion to determine the spring constant of the spring and to determine a relationship between mass and the period.

Team Collaboration

Dr.Govindaswamy, our physics teacher organized everyone into groups with different subjects. We got Simple Harmonic Motion and started the lab. Chelsea and Megan gathered all the data, handed it to me, and gave me ideas on how to organize them. I decided to make the website so that people could learn and be aware of nature's science, which not a lot of people think about. We overcame some challenges, but brainstormed right through them. Overall, we thought we did a good job for our first site.

Team Diversity

Team members came from various parts of Oklahoma and Texas.
