Do not let our tears become the last drop of water on the Earth.
Curriculum standards:
By their own experience, doing social surveyings and checking online, the kids can know the importance of water in life and that the water resource on Earth is getting less and less in the project.And also let the kids learn what the life will be like without water.By the project, help the kids reinforce the consciousness of saving water--Save water from ourselves.And the kids will learn how to save water in life.During the studying of our project,students will have the opportunity to develop some skills such as:
Communication
Technology
Creativity
Critical Thinking
Team work
Self-direction
Expected outcomes:
1.Make a report of the ways to save water in life.
2.The result of social surveyings (like photos and note)
3.Each person's feeling after the activities in the project.

The Internet,a digital camera,social resources, family resources and class resources
How will this project help the class, school, community or world?
As we know, saving and protecting water resources is a global problem.So in our project we could help the students or someone who sees our project reinforce the consciousness of saving water.And let them know they can just save water easily anytime in life,not only at school and at home,but also in public.Each one can help.Save water from myself.We can start from the little things right under our noses. Many hands can make light work.Do not let our tears become the last drop of water on the Earth.

Team Collaboration
There are six members in the team.Everyone has his or her own duty for the project,and they work together to complete the project.The following is their division of the work. Chaofan S is a creative girl,she is also good with her classmates.So she is the leader of our team. Wanyi H and Chang L are better at English than the others,So they are made to be editors.Correct the mistakes in others'speaking. They often spent much time going over others'words at night.Xinyi L is good at art.So she is an artist. Jiwen L takes care of checking information online.He is good at computer. So he is a little computer expert.Tao M likes to catch something in the camera in life. So he is a photographer. During the project,the most difficult challenge for the kids is English because they're just the students in Grade Seven from a junior high school.And they haven't learnt much English at school.Their English isn't good enough to express their ideas correctly in English.It is really hard for them.But they never gave up,they tried their best to do it well with the help of the teacher,English dictionaries and the Internet.In the project,the students have to search information online.Maybe it's easy for you if you have a computer at home.But it's hard for Chang L and Chaofan S because they have no computers at home.So one of them had to go to a net bar near her house after school,the other had to go to her grandfa's home if necessary. What's more,as you know,as Chinese students,they usually have a lot of homework to do every day.And they have to go to some extra classes after school,such as extra English class or extra math class.They nearly have no time to take part in the extra-curricular activities like our project after school.So they had to spend more time than others on the project. They often came home late and worked late at night.They just wanted to challenge themselves. And they made it. As a team,the members often helped each other.They know teamwork is very important in the project.For example,Jiwen L is really helpful.He is good at computer.So he often helped others get lots of information they needed online. Tao M helped a lot too.He took some candid photos of waste water in life.With the help of Jiwen L,he took some photos of flowers in different times by watching them carefully every day. So you can enyoy the photos of flowers both in bud and in blooming.All the members work hard.Finally, they have finished their work successfully.
Team Diversity
All the members are from my school but from different situations of families.Tao M's parents are teachers too, so they'r sure to allow Tao M to take part in our project and support our project.And his mother is also an English teacher.They really helped a lot.You know, some parents are afraid that their children will be weak in their study if they spend much time on the project.The members really spent more time on the project than others, they nearly spent their free time at noon in the computer classroom every day during the project,but all of them learnt a lot about English.their English is improved.Jiwen L is an active boy.Like other boys,he likes playing computer games,too.Sometimes he loses himself in playing computer games.His mother really worries about him.So I make good use of his hobby and let him be in the project.And now he learns that he should go online for studying.He shouldn't spend too much time playing computer games.And all the members are allowed to take part in the project according to their interests.Some are good at English,some likes taking photos,others are interested in searching online.In the project,they got information by doing social surveys themselves and checking online after school.The information including pictures from the internet make our pages rich and beautiful.So the students worded together and finished the project completely according to their different abilities.And their parents really helped a lot with both money and action.They used many resources,such as the Network Resources,family resources, social resources,as well as a digital camera to finish the project completely. So we can show the process and the result of our project intuitively with the photos,the surveying report with details..
