Our website, iJazz, was primarily designed as a Jazz web portal which caters to a specific group of Jazz lovers or musicians or just about anyone who is interested in Jazz music. As a web portal, we provide a number of services. Firstly, there is a recommended links section in which we highlight a few outstanding websites on the Net where interested visitors might be able to find more information on Jazz music. Then there are the chatrooms and message boards where Jazz lovers alike can talk and share about their love for this kind of music. As a educational website, we introduce our visitors to Jazz music. There is a history section where a brief history of Jazz (with the different periods and styles) is given. Then there is the theory and instruments part where visitors not so proficient in music can learn more about music theory as well as the different musical instruments.
