Team Collaboration
“Fire on all charts” is the idea of four young boys. These energetic young minds were so inquisitive about the current economic crisis that they decided to design a website to pacify their mind thirst. Though it was difficult for them to manage with their hectic studies schedule but by the grace of Allah Almighty they completed successfully. They had to do a lot of research as the topic was exclusively new for them. They divided the task and held heated discussions on the topic in their meetings. It was no-doubt a challenging task for them as some times they planned some
Think Quest competition space and emails were used effectively for collecting, sharing and reviewing data. Collection of data for them was also challenging and they approached many people to have an in-depth understanding of the concept. They discussed the topic with senior economics students, teachers and other adults to have the opinion of people from different fields. Main job of Uzair being the leader was to design the website and follow up with other members for meeting the scheduled dead lines. Adil, Hashir and Hassaan collated the main content. Beside this Hashir video recorded the discussion with Mr Farhan Ali, Relationship manager at IGI Insurance company and also with Hassan reviewed and enhanced the content to remove the technical errors from collected information. Uzair and Hashir held multiple sessions with Mr Shoaib Siddiqui, graduate from London School of Economics to consolidate the information gathered. They visited library very regularly to review the current magazine e.g. “The Economist”, ‘Times’, ‘News Week’ for the latest and updated information. Online magazines on internet and other news sites like ‘CNN’ and ‘BBC’ were the main source of content to have correct information. It was a joined effort of all four members not one person.
