A Mystery of Space: Stars

"A Mystery of Space: Stars" is an interactive and robust web site on star-related subjects. The subjects include "Stars", "Our Star: The Sun", "Observing the Stars", "Black Holes", "The Solar System", and "Cosmic Phenomena". Users can choose between two different levels; one for kids 12 and under , and one directed towards teachers and anyone over 13. "The Galactic Glossary" explains complicated space terms. There are six lesson plans, each of which encourage the Internet style of learning, and feature numerous hands-on activities. Three animations on supernovas, the life of a star, and the sun, give users a fun way to learn about stars. The Gallery contains an art and picture post, a story and sighting post, a constellation myth post, and constellation poll, and observe the real-time results.
