You will learn about fish traps, equipment, knots and splicing. We also want to teach people about the different types of fish, the life cycle of the salmon, and how to help protect the salmon. People can also learn about mending nets and some of the hazards of this occupation. We also have included a vocabulary list of words that might be new to someone who doesn't know much about set nets or fishing.
