Our Entry serves as a study to determine what factors may have caused the decline in durability of baseball players. There is clearly something considering Cy Young pitched over 50 games a season while now, starting pitchers rarely surpass 35 appearances. So our Entry serves as an investigation as to what may have caused such a sharp decline.
