Team Collaboration

The team meet up every monday and other days which they were free.Nickolas took the leadership role and planned out in the first few months,drawing it out on paper and debating on it over and over again.When they finally settled on creating a game that would explore people's views on life as these beliefs has great impact on the world we live in. Joel and Nickolas split their work evenly, both coming from different classes and from different background. Through Joel knew nothing about programming and was a slow learner, Nickolas had the patience to continue teaching Joel. Joel had the determination to continue learning the logic of programming in actionscript. Through the game was not easy to program, they manage to troubleshoot and implement the basic flow of the game. Wei Han spent hours researching on the different world views and beliefs and was in constant discussion how to these ideas into the game, helping to ensure the game is relevant and realistic. The challenge of the game is to reflect current realistic societal stories and trends that arise from the beliefs that we may consciously be aware or not.

Team Diversity

Joel, Nickolas and Wei Han comes from different classes of the same level and share the same passion for learning. They had different religious background and spent many hours arguing to clarify their understanding of the subject in order to implement the game and to avoid biasness against a particular belief. In the process, they asked cutting questions about life and deconstruct the assumptions behind each beliefs. Such discussion was possible due to the different backgrounds as well as viewpoints in which they understand of their world.
