This is an excellent reference site that lists who the ancient Roman gods were, what festivals were celebrated, and the Roman emperors from 44 BC to AD 802. The site explains who each one is, and provides an illustration whenever possible. One of the neat parts of this site involves pictures of Roman landmarks as they once were, which morph into pictures of how they appear today.
