Carbon's Nirvana
2001
The diamond, graphite and buckminsterfullerene are the well-known allotropes of carbon. It does not meen that the carbon allotropes according with the factor of covalent bond are only as few as that. Using the simple mathematical relations between points and lines only, and our basic space imagination, we have form a lot of potential carbon allotropes according with the factor of bond. If a number of these materials can really be produced, some of them might have special physical characters. These special properties might make beautiful dreams with carbon's future, and perhaps our future too.
