Kids making websites will need to understand why copyrights, trademarks and licenses are important. Counterfeiters target kids. Counterfeit collectables make copyrights an everyday topic for kids. We have lots of general information, interviews with artists and publishers, and advice from webmasters on a variety of educational websites. There are personal stories that encourage kids to write for permission for images they would like. There are ideas and tips for getting permission. The site features an interview with the director of the National Digital Library as well as a picture tour of the Library of Congress.
