All about paper
Our project is a unique collection of all what you want to know about paper. This is a quick description of what we have in our site. It will take you in a journey through the early beginnings of writing materials in civilized nations. Ancient Egyptians were the pioneers with their papyrus. Ts'ai Lun established the bases of modern paper, whose industry spread to Asia and from there to the Arabs. That's how the craft's secret moved to Europe and the rest of the world. Afterwards, many changes and improvements were added to the manufacture of paper and different materials were used. Later, advanced machines were invented and improved and we now have a developed machine called "The Fourdrinier" which is commonly used in the paper industry. But, we must all share in saving Mother Earth from pollution. Recycling is the method. Paper recycling helped a lot and can do more if we all cooperate. Time for some fun. We'll show you an interesting game of paper. We included many illustrations to help you play this game which we named "fortuneteller". That's not all. There is also a quiz to test your "Paper" information, all of them are included in the site. We included a search engine to help you look for the information you need to know about paper in our site. Next, is a little about the site. We'll tell you about us, our ages and our skills. And last but not the least, we report the resources of our information and images and include links to some web sites for further information about paper. We send thanks to those who helped us create our site and gave us the courage to go on.
