"The BioHazard Zone" is about how infectious diseases are transmitted and treated, as well as their signs and symptoms. Sections include a brief history of mankind's fight against microbes, their triumphs and defeats. The "Photos" gallery showcases the "faces" of the microbes. "The Cast" will give you a basic understanding of the three important types of microbes: bacteria, viruses and protozoa Bioterrorism, Emerging and reemerging diseases, drug resistance are current issues about the microbes. Visitors are provided with basic medical knowledge so that if they are "down" with certain symptoms, they might have an idea of what the symptoms mean (although medical help should definitely be sought).Languages: English.
