Team Collaboration

This year, our team of 3 people worked together to make an amazing page on The Olympics. We picked Olympics because we all wanted to do sports so as we were thinking, our teammate Amy thought of the Olympics and we all agreed to it. Everyone in our group all helped with our website, from when we picked our topic until the end which is making the actual website. Since our website is about the Olympics, we chose to put the Olympic Rings on the homepage. As we were working, Siera said we should add a song. So we asked our couch if we could put a song. What we did was we put the song they last played for the summer Olympics in Beijing, China.

We pretty much collaborated through class time. We first figured out who was going to do what and what our links will be. It went well because now each person knows who’s doing what and who has to work on the links. We went to Thinkquest to do a scavenger hunt to get used to it. It went well, we are almost done and we worked long and hard. As we started the research on Nettrekker, we got a lot of research and finished the scavenger hunt in the end. We all figured out that we’re going to work on our links as much as we can. Then in class, we filled in a big 6 organizer packet to help us with website. We learned about new sources which got us a lot further with the website information. That went really good. As the research days went on, we learned new kid friendly websites. We got pictures off the kid friendly websites. Then, we made a team name. At the end, we worked on our story board.
