Pokidex: A Study of Pokimon Popularity

Ever wondered how and why Pokemon became so popular? Wonder no more! In this project, we have analyzed the marketing strategies and techniques Nintendo employs in the marketing of Pokimon, to see how they affect Pokimon sales. Through this project, we aim to discover both the customer and company's view of Pokimon, and in turn show how they influence the marketing of different products. To back up our research and to find more evidence, we have surveyed students and teachers alike and compiled the results and tabulated them, thus finding out their concerns about Pokimon. Also, we have collected the various criticisms they have for Pokimon and provided counter-criticisms in an attempt to prove that Pokimon is in fact beneficial to children.
