Team Collaboration
Our team members come from Italy and India
The schools are situated in Palombara Sabina, Rome and Guwahati Assam, India. Our team started to work on this website since September 2008, with the idea to create a project on the English language. Some of Italian and Indian students started working for a little time and then left the project . Irene was the student who coordinated all the work of the team members, including the invitations of the new students.With some early difficulties, we could organize a close - knit group. Irene designed the buttons, created the mind maps, some dialogues and does some surveys on the Internet with Ilenia . Alessia dubbed all the dialogues and drew some pictures. Quizzes and other items were made by the Indian students Jubhajit and Neha. Ms Zeenat guided her students utilizing her spare time in the creation of this website. Mr Deb helped all the team in suggesting the artistic part checking all the work created by the Italian and Indian students. The team used to collaborate through ThinkQuest.
Team Diversity
The members are from two different schools and two different countries : Italy and India.The students are different in their culture, tradition, language, religion but united by the same interests as music, sport, painting. Irene likes playing volleyball and playing the violin. Alessia loves music, swimming and dancing.She loves also horses, dogs, cats and all the animals. Her favourite subjects are English, Italian and Maths. Ilenia likes listening to the music and singing. Jubhajit studies in Class VI in Kendriya Vidyalaya NF Railway Maligaon; his favourite hobbies are painting and playing table tennis.
Neha studies in Class VIII in Kendriya Vidyalaya NF Railway Maligaon. Her favourite hobbies are painting and watching T.V. She also loves music and dancing.
Mr Deb, the assistant coach, is from India and he is an Art teacher in Kendriya Vidyalaya NFR Maligaon, Guwahati Assam INDIA. For him ThinkQuest is a passion. He has been to Rome, Italy, in December 2008,to visit some schools in Rome and meet the Italian students in an interactive workshop coordinated by Mrs Palazzo. He has also been trained in Project Based Learning at 21 Century Learning Institute Singapore and has won several accolades in the field of art, photography, computers and internet based education. He coached the Italian and Indian team guiding the students for the design of the website and giving them support and collaboration.
Mrs Palazzo is the coach of the website. She is from Rome, Italy. She has just participated in ThinkQuest competition in 2008 with two websites in collaboration with Mr Deb and Mr Sengupta from India. Her two ThinkQuest Websites are now in The Oracle Library.
She is very fond of computer programmes, photography, gardening and of all the living creatures in the world. She speaks Italian, her mother tongue, English, French and a bit of Spanish. She loves learning about different cultures, traditions, languages and countries.
