Earthrise: A Tour of Our Solar System

"Earthrise : A Tour of Our Solar System" gives a detailed yet easy-to-understand introduction to the 9 planets in our solar system. The Earthrise site is divided into 5 mini-sites: The Solar System, The Tour, Space Missions, Discovery, and the Text Site. The Solar System is the main juice of the site. information on every body in the system is here, ready for you! The Tour is hosted by a cute planet, Apollo, and includes brief introductions of each planet, plus interesting comments by the host. It's geared towards teens and kids who want to learn, but don't want to read a lot. We made learning fun as ever. The Space Mission section has introductions to the major space missions which have greatly affected the study of astronomy of today and tomorrow. The Discovery section is the playful side of Earthrise. With movies and MIDI sounds, one could discover a lot there than from a normal webpage. Also added were mythical tales of the universe which scientist couldn't explained. The Text site is for students and researchers who need the facts quickly, without all the graphic hype. It is here to be an educational reference for anyone who doesn't want to sift through data to get what they need. Overall, the site is more colorful and easy to move around in than other Solar System sites, the information is complete and right to the point without being boring, and there's something for everyone at Earthrise!
