Our entry is a historical depiction of the circumstances of children in four different time periods- The Salem Witch Trials, the Revolutionary War, the Civil War and Reconstruction, and the First World War. These topics were chosen through the novels that our class is reading this year for reading comprehension (The Witch of Blackbird Pond, Johnny Tremain, The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, and Rilla of Ingleside.)
