Team Collaboration

The team was formed by our teacher. We all had to make the Belbin test. The results of the test should show our capacities. In this way everyone would have his/her own task in the group. People with different capacities were placed in one group. In our team Manon was co-ordinator, Cécile was resource investigator, Guy was team worker ,Vera was implementer, Twan was plant , Georgy was plant (For further information: www.belbin.com). While working on the project, we didn’t really notice the differences in our tasks. We really worked together as a team. All ideas were discussed and we made the decisions together. In our team we divided the tasks right at the beginning. We first decided together what to do and we made a plan. Two of our team members (Twan and Georgy) took care of the lay-out and building of the website, because they are interested in it. The others (Vera, Guy, Cécile and Manon) took care of most of the text. We did research to find valuable information which we could use to make our texts more clear. Every week we discussed what everybody had done already and what still had to be done. The team worked very good and everybody accepted the ideas of others. We didn’t encounter many problems. If one of us didn’t manage to write a piece of text, the others helped to find information. We also made a little movie of our team as a welcome to our website. Together as a team, we managed to create this website. We had a lot of fun.

Team Diversity

Our team exists of three boys and three girls. Five out of six people live in the Netherlands. One person(Georgy) lives in Belgium. His parents come from Belorussia and Ukraine. Probably this enhanced our website because he often had other views than us.
