Team Collaboration

We started by looking at past entries on ThinkQuest.com. Then we started discussing what subject we should research. WE decided on Butterflies and thouth about what to research. WE made a brainstorming web and then we split the research evenly. When everyone finished their research we started constructing the website. After we were almost finished, we started making our introduction with claymation. Then we edited the site and the claymation.

Brendan is really good at finding good resources, so his topic was big and he seemed to write a novel. He also found a lot of our copyright free images. Charles researched four different things and he helped a lot with the site design. Matthew also researched butterfly species and edited the claymation. Josi researched the body parts and life stages of the butterfly and was the photographer for the claymation.

We all did a lot of research and worked very well together.

Team Diversity

Our team has three boys and one girl. At first we had a hard time agreeing on a topic because we didn’t want it to seem too girly or boyish. We wanted to do a topic that we could learn from. Josi’s mom is from India and Brendan’s is from China, so it was important to us that we pick a topic was applicable to people throughout the world.
