Our site explores about abdi dalem,employees at Yogyakarta Keraton, an ancient tradition which still exist until now. In here we would reveal about their job description: who these people are,what exactly their duty is, how they accomplish the duty, what they earn from this job, and what makes this occupation so interesting. However, they still dont get enough attention as they deserve. These Abdi Dalems deserves appreciation and welfare. Both things that they hope could accept not only from the sultan but also from all stage of society. Our project aim is to make people notice about how important it is to maintance our traditional culture. Especially in this globalization period where people are becoming less concern and give less attention to ancestors haritage. Therefore, we have to keep our culture or less we will loss it. Since we live in indonesia , a multicultural country which has so many tradition and so many tribes. We could make a huge progress by simply starting a little step. Our first step is to start from local culture in Yogyakarta, so in this case we talk about abdi dalem. If we ourselves don’t give attention to our own culture, who else will? By being concerned with our culture means preventing it’s extention and also preventing culture piracing by others.
