This site is made with the purpose of showing to everyone the beauties of Antarctica, information about the life and other aspects of this continent that can be destroyed if it is nothing done with the global warming. Some information about the global warming is also present in the project.
It is hoped that people will reconsider their opinions about the pollution and about the using of the consumable resources of the planet. This project will show to the world that mankind will lose something magnificent that can be found only here at the South Pole.

This website teaches the reader about the history and geography of 7 of the most wonderful structures on the planet. One of its main features is interactivity, with games, stories, quizzes and more. This allows the reader to learn at their own pace and use different tools for different learning styles. Some people learn by reading while others prefer "doing". The main page of each wonder has the complete information about the wonder for those who learn by reading. For others, we have included games and other interactivities to add some entertainment, while teaching at the same time. For younger visitors to our site, we have a story book telling the history of the Great Wall of China, which includes illustrations for better understanding. The site is easily navigable with buttons to all other pages from every page. For our international users, we have created a mirror site in the Indian language of Marathi. We hope that this site provides the reader with historical and geographical information about the Seven Wonders of the World. We have included maps and information about each of the countries in which the wonders are located along with travel information and links to travel web sites in case the reader wishes to visit any of the wonders, or just wants more information about the country.

"Antarctica" is a site that covers land we do not know. Five sections explore this large land mass with virtual tours and fascinating facts. "Terra Incognita" is about the geography of Antarctica; "SubAntarctic Islands" looks at the islands of Antarctica; "Exploration" recounts the history of exploration in Antarctica and "Human Presence" shows how the presence of humans have affected Antarctica,. Other sections include "Life on Antarctica", about the life forms on Antarctica. There is a Flash version called "Virtual Antarctica" giving you the chance to tour the areas of your choice. This site should stimulate further exploration and research for those who are really keen on this topic.

Antarctica is a continent of wonder. Located at the South Pole, not only is it the coldest place on Earth, it is also the windiest, iciest, and the driest place in the world. No one can argue that Antarctica, trapped in an ice sheet of 3000 meters high, has one of the harshest natural environments imaginable. Yet, we must not forget that it is also a continent wrapped in human warmth. It is a land of international peace and cooperation, where countries around the world share the land solely for its scientific research. Still, what we know about the continent is just the beginning of a great big mystery. As the only continent in the world that hasn't been touched greatly or destroyed by mankind, Antarctica hides some of the most exciting possibilities for exploration and the revelation of amazing secrets. The website was created in hope that the young people of today would get to know more about the continent of ice and cherish its importance for the future of our world.
