Does it have to do with their significance to society or the technology used to build the Wonder and most importantly, why are there Seven Wonders of the World - not 5 or 13? Taking a closer look at these various Wonders of the World, we came up with some characteristics as to what makes a structure a Wonder and looked even closer at how it was designed and constructed.

This project was an optional way to do their research project. This project incorporates the 3 "T's" - what some say has replaced the 3 "R's" in education. Those 3 "T's" are Technology, Teamwork and Thinking. In order to be successful in this day and age, students must be adept at all three. The parents of my students, as well as the technology department of my district, are in wholehearted support of these objectives. In addition to the skills the students have learned, the parents of my students also feel that their children have learned very valuable, life-long lessons as well.

We have also included links to other internet resources to expand on the information we researched and shared. Our most important objective was to use the internet to provide a way for kids to learn and have fun at the same time.
