Our entry focuses on the first ladies of jazz - The First of the Red Hot Mamas. We tried to make an interactive site that allows users to learn all about Ruth Etting, Ma Rainey, Bessie Smith, Mamie Smith, Sophie Tucker and Ethel Waters. The site also provides links to allow users to add their own content to the site as well as sign a message board to post opinions and ideas for the site and a guestbook to let others know who has visited.
