He is able to overcome some of the hazards of the nature due to the technology he has developed and is developing but are these technologies really helpful to the man kind or these having even banes which are more serious than the boons???
He is not only competing with nature but now he is also competing with fellow human beings to overcome each other. He is trying to become superior in politics by annexing other states or countries, he is trying to dominate one another in the field of science and technology, culture in territory, and in other sectors.
This had both positives and negatives. Positives are because as a result of this there is a competition because of which he is trying to develop a lot and at rapid pace. Sometimes if this competition increases then there can be chances of some negatives which you will see discussed in this site.
In this site we are going to show from the past till now how man has developed due to the competition he faced with nature and also with fellow human beings. • Curriculum standards
Each student will do a survey about a country around the world choosing from : ASIA-AUSTRALIA-AFRICA-AMERICA- EUROPE and will describe its geographical and economic aspects. They will draw also a map of the country and will describe it with a short caption saying what hunger is, what the reasons are, such as war, natural catastrophe, lack of education and so on. Then he /she will focus on the consequences of hunger, as nutrition and calories deficiency and some illness. Then students will describe the foods that people usually eat and some special dishes with some traditional food information supported by pictures or drawings made by students with ms paint or hand painted. Each of them will interview people coming from the country they are doing the survey or on the internet and will make a video. Students will also create a game or a quiz about recipes from differet countries.
• Expected outcomes
The final product will be a dish used in the country and cooked by each member . The recipes will be written on the project. In this way each student will sit at the table of brotherhood and will help each other offering the dish cooked , giving in this way an end to the hunger.
• Required resources
Internet, books, encyclopedia, interviews, school library.
• How will this project help the class, school, community or world?
At the end of the work students will prepare something to eat in their own school and will invite parents, relatives and all the school staff to buy the food prepared. All the proceeds will be given in charity to help the countries in which there is still hunger!
