A travis de un mitodo facil e ilustrado, Newen pretende enseqar desde lo mas basico como la pronunciacisn de letras hasta los fensmenos naturales, pasando por enseres domisticos, vestimenta, entre otros...
Esta "enciclopedia virtual" se encuentra disponible en Espaqol e Inglis para comodidad del usuario extranjero...

This dictionary seeks to teach to our people native language, the Mapugundzn. This language belongs to the oldest and extensive indigenous community in our country, Chile. Of the hand of Newen that means spiritual Force", we will be able to incentivate the learning of this language (or native language) that seems strange for other inhabitants of the planet. Through an easy and cultured method, Newen seeks to teach from the most basic thing as the pronunciation of letters until the natural phenomenons, going by domestic tackle, gear, among other... This virtual encyclopedia is available in Spanish and English for the foreign user's comfort... And also, it is necessary from now on to highlight that Newen is the encyclopedia virtual ideal mapuche for young from 10 years.

We wanted to participate in 1999 to recuperate the experiences of Daniel Grady, a young englishman, whom came to Chile, specificaly Chiloi, with his familly. Considering his experience in learning and comprehencion of the spanisho of this region of South America, we wanted to teach through a web page the dificulties of our language to other english speaking young people.
The educative objectives can be sumarised as:
1.- Teach how to understand the spanish spoken in Chile to other english-speakers.
2.- Help to understand the slang and frases used in Chile.
3.- Display the culture of this region of America.
4.- Use internet as a place for investigation and knowladge.
5.- Help english-spaeaking young people understand and learn the culture, tradicions and slang of the spanish belonging to this region of America.
6.- Find vocabulary of the native language of this area (Huilliche).
