"I Want My NTV" was designed to make students aware of issues surrounding television violence. We wanted to teach kids about the history of violence on television, the effects of television violence on kids, the violence chip and the controversy it has created as well as the television rating system. We provided information on these areas and created activities that kids, parents, and teachers could do to become involved in this issue, regardless of their veiwpoint. We hoped that kids would help us to create a data bank of their opinions through the questionnaire so that we could write our own research article from a kids point of view.

For educational purposes and by the definition of TRiO Think Quest Fair Use Rules, we will be using images of comic book characters to illustrate the importance of our subject. Not only are they for entertainment, but they also educate the significance of current and past events.
