Tagebuch

1999
The purpose of this project is to develop a homepage which will serve as an interactive forum for students of German from all over the world and German natives. They will learn about the life of teenagers around the world, using German as the means of communication. The project includes requesting, gathering, collecting, organizing, categorising, and posting entries produced by students of German, ages 12 - 19. Students on all levels of proficiency are encouraged to write entries in forms of diaries, each between 40 - 100 words in length. They may submit these along with charts, graphics, and picture files to be posted on this homepage, divided into numerous categories such as: - personal profiles - daily life - school - hobbies & interests - sports - family - holidays - hometown - house/appartment - environment - favorites clothes food music pastimes - vacation - tranprtation - girl/boyfriend - dreams & wishes etc. Students will be able to visit the homepage and actively get involved into its design and content. We see the present page only as a beginning, since we only posted entries from our school. In order to really work, the page must be accessable to the public, to encourage participation in the project.
