Drug issues have been like heavy clouds obsfucating our skies in the past few years. There are so many issues unresolved on ethical, moral and socio-economic grounds and so many political factors that we have to consider when dealing with such complex issues. In this project, we intend to summarize the information from various sources about the nature and effects of certain drugs of abuse, bring out certain sociological issues such as the social conflict theory, and also summarize the views for and against the legalization of drugs -- an issue that has been unresolved and frequently repeatedly argued. We also bring to the readers more up-to-date information about special kinds of drugs such as designer drugs, alternative medicine that has been rising in popularity recently, and also the dangers of misusing antibiotics. In summary, we have an exciting learning journey created for the readers. In accord with the goals of the organizers, we have made this page an informative, educational one, which is aethetically pleasant and interactive and hence incorporating all the ideals of web-based learning. We do hope that this project will bring more insights regarding the several topics discussed here.
