Cyanide Impurities on Tisza

Four years ago, on the evening of 30th of January 2000, the breaking of the embankment of the non-ferrous metal mine owned by the Australian-Romanian mixed company Aurul, caused one of the biggest ecological catastrophes of the 21st century. More than 1200 fishes died in the accident, on the river Szamos and Tisza.

Our site presents the attributes and farming circumstances of the Ostrich in Hungary. We made an excursion to an ostrich farm and we were to the zoo, too. We found the eating and nursing of these animals very interesting.

Artistic production during the socialism in Hungary

Ten years ago in Hungary socialism fell. We were little children even in the last years, and we could not understand what was happening, so this period is only history for us. We want to show this part of our history though arts. We think you may be interested in this topic, and now anybody can have a basic knowledge of socialism. We would like you to know a bit about Hungary, Hungar's history and Hungarians. First of all, we gathered things from our city, Gvdvllu but, of course, we have material from the whole country. We have some text and pictures but we also have a historical summary and a chronology to let you navigate better between years and events. We have some links to foreign web sites to help the ones, who find this topic interesting and want to look for more details.
