Our web site takes a sport that kids love and helps kids to learn math in an exciting way and have fun. We accomplished this by providing
mathematical problems that were related to baseball. We
have different levels of math for students who want to
start at an easy level and then progress to harder levels.
In "Baseball and Math" the viewer gets to find out if they are right
or wrong in their mathematical calculations. There is a
page with baseball bloopers for humor and a word search
page and quiz for even more fun. We feel that we have met
our objective because others at our school have tried our
site and enjoyed doing the math related to baseball. Our site will hopefully continue to help kids learn more by finding out things for themselves
so they can develop into a smarter, more reliable people.

Our team of four boys and six girls, created a web page to honor outstanding players and events in baseball. The 1998 baseball season of Mark McGuire and Sammy Sosa has put a positive light on baseball. Our team wanted to shine some light on others who have contributed to America's favorite pastime in remembering the lessor known players and plays on our web page. We hope our visitors will gain an appreciation for the "unforgettable forgotten" legacy to the game of baseball. Our educational objectives were, first of all, to enable the students to understand the dynamics of creating a web page. Secondly, in creating this web page, we intended to see that the contributions of others are important even though they may not be highly publicized or remembered. Also, the collaboration of working on a project and learning from each other as a team were a part of our goal.
