Germany: an exploration of the people and the culture is a site that is dedicated to German culture and ways of life. Throughout this site you can learn about aspects of German culture, customs and daily life such as: their holidays and celebrations, the school system, the states and the food. On the states pages you can learn about every individual state with a brief discription or interesting fact, statistical information and more. The interactive page is where you can sign our guest book, take the Germany Quiz, play the games, send us email or find a German penpal. A day in the life page, and the Customs and Traditions page both take a look into German society from an outsiders view. These pages help you learn about German etiquitte and other observations. In addition, there is the Food page (with German recipes), the Holiday page (with discriptions of how different holidays are celebrated in Germany), the school system page (where you can learn about the different tracks and types of schools in Germany)and the Links and resources page (where we've provided many useful and educational links to many sites about Germany and their culture).
