The Matterhorn - more than just a mountain

1999
This is the title of our contribution to the Thinkquest competition. Although the Matterhorn is world-famous as a mountain, it is difficult to get a good overall view of the various topics connected with it. We would therefore like to give an overall view of all possible aspects connected with the Matterhorn. Because we could not "reinvent" our subject, we collected material about it. In doing this, we particularly wanted to include new and previously unknown aspects of the Matterhorn in our project, such as, for example, the migration of the Walser from Zermatt (Switzerland) to Gressoney (Italy). The various topics are arranged in a virtual village.
