As is known to all, light is miraculous and mysterious, and this site we are building has many interesting things about it. Light is a sort of electromagnetic waves. We can find it everywhere in our daily lives. Without it, we can see nothing but darkness, and there is no color existing any more, either. What kinds of light can we meet around us? The sunlight, lamps, lightning, laser, and lights caused from some creatures, etc. As we overlook the earth from outer space, we will find that big cities are never dark even in the whole night. Light is so important that it has become a necessity in our world. Are you interested in it now? Just take a look at our website and it'll be a rewarding journey. It's the light makes our world bright!

"Perspective art" was the fifteenth through seventeenth century answer to 3-D glasses: art so lifelike you want to touch it. Artists like Leonardo da Vinci wove the scientific principles of optics and illusion into their art, creating images that trick the eyes and fool the mind. Read biographies of the featured artists and the techniques they used. You can also take a short quiz, investigate projects to try, and read suggestions for further research.

"Adustum", the title of our website is Latin for light, which is so important to our existence that without it we could never have existed. The site is not just about the seven colours that light has been observed to split into, but all the wavelengths that form the electromagnetic spectrum. With six main links - History of light, its Nature, Optical Phenomenon, Light and Time, Electromagnetic Spectrum and Miscallaneous, we have tried to cover extensively and exhaustively all major aspects of this ultimate form of energy. Through various interactive methods, we have made efforts to make the users visit to the site a memorable one.

I light is a web site constructed to educate 15 - 20 year old students and adults on the many scientific aspects of light. It is created solely for an enriching and fun experience, our entry comprises of a mainly content section and a miscellanous experimental section.Users can cruise through the content section and follow systemtically the links below to explore further suggested pages that will follow. Lesson plans are also available to enable teachers to conduct lessons using I light by using it as a teaching resource. When all is done, students can visit links on the internet stated in the virtual lab where they are taken through experiments on the net as suggested by us. The entry takes on a new perspective as we debate over controversial topics about light as a whole. Posting of messages in the forum will allow users to engage in highly beneficial discussions. Presenting i Light - an interactive and informative web experience.

For centuries, light and sound have captivated the minds of the inquisitive. Early philosophers and scientists studied light and sound and began to associate their behavior with that of waves. In Wave Express, you will learn about the early theories of light and sound and the recognition of their wavelike properties. We will delve into the basics of what a wave is and how it travels. This site is designed to give you the flexibility that cannot be captured in a textbook

This site is dedicated to light in all its manifestations: in physics, in technology, in nature and in culture. Our goal is to help students learn more about light, whether it is the physics of light, human use of light, light phenomena in nature, or light in religion, art and literature. To further this end, we've icluded a message board for posting questions, some Java virtual experiments, a full-text search, and a site map with an outline of what this site covers.

This page will describe in detail light and its properties using interactive media such as Macromedia Flash and Java. The user will learn about the way that light moves through, space, time, and different media. The user will also be able to learn about how light is seen by the eye, how the image is transmitted to the brain, and how the brain interprets the image. Things such as the way lenses work, why we see color, and Einstein's Theory of Relativity will also be discussed.

We wrote about light, the things in light, the things you need in light, and why we need light. We wrote about color, light tools, the sun, light waves, reflection, and other things in light. We scanned 3 pictures and made two animated graphics. We chose this topic because it supports the Virginia Standards of Learning.

"Photography | The Art of Light" provides an easy, interactive way of learning photography, with simulations, a discussion board, and more, to allow the viewer to learn the most about photography. The major contribution of the site is the clear explanation of light: the most important element in photography. You will learn about many types of light and controlling light in your pictures in a tutorial. The rest of the site serves as a concise course in photography, most important to the beginning photographer.

Did you know that a rainbow is formed by light refracted (or bent) through drops of water in the air? This web site will show you how light is refracted as well as how light is reflected. Do you know that the light of the sun is created from burning gases, and that our moon is like a mirror reflecting the sunlight? Find out about energy from wind and water, too!

Presented in English, French, German, and Bosnian, this site explores various facets of light. You may think of light only in terms of its physical, biological, and chemical properties, but it is also a religious symbol, is important in artistic expression, and even affects our feelings. At this interesting site, you can learn about everything from the aurora borealis to how blind kids experience light and color.
