Molecular Robotics is one of the most exciting new fields in science. First hypothesized in the '50s it has grown, or should I say "shrunk", to a whole new level of technology. The ability to manipulate a single atom has been a dream of scientist since the discovery of the atom, but hey hasn't everyone had that dream.
About this site

Technology has come far since the early days of computer and robotics. Today, advanced technology is trying to master the creation of the brain (synthetically, at least). We intend to introduce you to the world of Robotics and Artificial Intelligence. After experiencing our web site, you should have a good grasp on both Robotics and Artificial Intelligence.

Our site reviews a number of commercial robot kits
which were assembled by the authors. The good and
bad points of each kit are discussed, along with
still photos of the robots. Visitors can watch
actual footage of a micro-robot suturing a live
person during closed-heart surgery. Many links to
other robot sites are provided, including the
national robot design contest (FIRST).
We also provide an interactive
"Robot Visitor Center" for sharing information on
robots, providing additional robot kit reviews, and
comments on the site; and an interactive "RoboCop Detective" Mindbender.
