Our objective was to help children learn more about the triumphs and downfalls of basketball. On our page we included biographies of some of the famous basketball stars, some funny bloopers from past basketball games, and some trivia about basketball players. We feel that we have met our objectives and have provided opportunities for visitors to learn more about basketball. Hopefully kids will learn from the bloopers page that it is OK to make mistakes because kids will read about other players making such weird mistakes. Our site teaches the basics skills, such as dribbling, passing, taking basket shots, etc. There is also a separate page for understanding some of the terms used in basketball (i.e. crossover). Our overall purpose is to teach individuals that have very little knowledge of basketball the main skills of the "game", and to teach experienced players moves thaty they might not have learned in the past.

They also wanted to provide a challenge to the user by including the trivia questions. They hope to get oher people excited about the game of basketball. This entry helped the creators learn about the World Wide Web, and its applications for use as a fun and educational tool. Creating a web page for others to use was what interested and challenged them. It gave them experience in researching, organizing, and presenting information in an interesting way, so that other people could learn about basketball and hopefully develop an interest in it.
